Ordering and Shipping Information Please see the important policy change at the bottom of this page!
All of our orders are processed as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that we are usually building the items to order and building quality items does take time. Larger orders will take longer to process. If at any time, you're wondering how your order is coming along, feel free to contact us for an update on your order status. Currently, orders are taking from 4 to 16 weeks to process, on average, depending upon what items are ordered. Some of our items are fairly labor-intensive and take longer to build. Rest assured, that orders are processed in the order they are received. Your order will be shipped to the address you provide on the order form. We are not responsible for packages returned due to inaccurate information given on your order form, and you will be charged for re-shipping the package. We offer you the option on how you would like your items shipped. You may choose the cheapest way possible, or to have your package sent by a specific shipper. Choose from USPS parcel post, USPS Priority Mail and FedEx. We require that all shipments through USPS have Delivery Confirmation. The price of this service will be added to your shipping amount. Our items are packed carefully, and insurance is at your discretion, but it is recommended. Shipments via FedEx automatically carry insurance. We cannot be responsible for items damaged during shipment. You will receive a confirmation that your order has been received, and also when it has shipped. You will also be notified of your tracking number if the order is being shipped via FedEx. Payments are accepted by PayPal, money order or personal check. Personal check orders will not ship until the check has cleared (usually 24 hours). Shipping quotes are generally given at the time your order is ready to ship, as we charge only what we pay to ship to you. Please do not send payment until you receive a shipping amount from us. Whenever possible, we will use boxes and packaging supplies we can obtain at no charge. If your order contains over-size items, we may have to purchase a box in order to ship it safely. This cost is added to your shipping charge. We are only able to ship orders to the US and Canada. If you are from Canada and are ordering from us, you are responsible for any and all duty fees, regardless of the amount. Orders for Michigan residents are subject to 6% Michigan state sales tax. Effective June 1, 2009 All orders $50.00 or more, and any order containing custom-sized shelving require a 50% non-refundable deposit, payable by check or money order (only). Orders requiring a deposit will not become active until the deposit is received. The balance of the order total is due once we notify you of the entire total (including shipping) and may be paid by check, money order or PayPal. Both the deposit and remaining balance are due within 14 days of notification. We appreciate your understanding with this policy change, but it is due to several orders not being paid for once they were completed. This holds up orders for other customers and leaves us with items that are custom that we cannot use to fill orders. Orders for Michigan residents are subject to 6% Michigan state sales tax. |
